The website Digital Teaching German Studies (created by our colleagues from the FID German Studies and FID AVL, in cooperation with other partners) includes a list of tools for use in digital teaching (e.g. for holding web seminars): Tools for digital teaching.

The website is in German, but the links are of course self-explanatory.

Of course, it is generally recommended to use the learning platform that is already in use at your university and with which the students are already familiar.

An important note: Not all tools are compatible with data protection regulations. Some should only be used for the exchange with colleagues, but not with students. If possible, please refer to the information provided by your local institution when making your selection. It is always a good idea to know the advantages and disadvantages of the tool in question.
